Meet the Doctor

Dr. Julia Chang is known for her gentle touch and soft chair-side manner. She has been in practice for over 20 years and learned to give the best and most comfortable anesthesia for all her patients.  Dr. Julia graduated from University of Detroit Mercy, MI and had travelled to many places for her continuing education, training, and family.  After moving 7 times considering herself a nomad, Dr. Julia finally found her home in the Evergreen State, WA, and quickly fell in love with the majestic beauty of Pacific Northwest in 2005.

Coming from a family background of architects and artists, she had little knowledge of healthcare. But what intrigued her was the fear she had whenever she went to see a "doctor".  As a child, she recalls characteristics of the face of the doctor who put her at ease.  Learning from my past, it has molded her to be the doctor she is now. To treat patients with respect, compassion, and mostly with a gentle touch.  Dr. Julia has taken numerous continuing education courses every year in various aspects of Dentistry.  She is a member of Washington Academy of General Dentistry and is actively involved in community service. The most memorable outreach was an opportunity of participating in dental mission to Nairobi, Kenya that was able to treat 200+ underserved patients in two days.
